AMERICAN DOG: New Video Posted Online

March 7, 2005

Columbus, Ohio-based AMERICAN DOG, featuring former SALTY DOG bassist Michael Hannon, have released the video for their first single, the "everyman's tale" known as "Workin' Man". "Workin' Man" comes from the band's recently released "Scars-N-Bars", which has been universally praised around the globe for its musical depth and excellence.

The video for "Workin' Man" can be seen exclusively at the band's brand new website, www.americandog.us. Shot on a shoe-string budget with the help of videographer Joel Robinson, the video is the perfect reflection of what AMERICAN DOG has always been — a gritty, no-frills rock band that lets the music do its talking and kicks you in the groin if you aren't listening. When asked about the video, vocalist/bassist Michael Hannon states, "We've come as far as we have without anyone sticking their hand out to help, and we're going to continue to develop on our own. We'll succeed either with the help of the corporate music community or to spite it. The bottom line is that we'll succeed."

"Scars-N-Bars" is available now at CDBaby.com and TheClassicMetalShow.com/store.

AMERICAN DOG is:

Michael Hannon - Bass/Lead Vocals
Steve Theado - Guitars
Keith Pickens - Drums
